Community Outreach

The Museum in the Community.

The Museum seeks to provide services to the community both through the education services we offer and with other activities.
We have provided reminiscence prints from our photo archive for public areas in care homes in the area and can provide boxes of artifacts to promote discusssion and reminiscence in care homes with residents and dementia sufferers.
These boxes are available on loan, do contact us to discuss how we can use our resources and expertise to support your project.
Each year in July the Museum holds a series of weekly evening lectures. Attendance is by donation and a free glass of wine can be enjoyed during the lecture followed by a look around the Museum. Please see Facebook, Twitter and local advertising for our lecture programme’.
